Lady Gaga has announced through her Twitter account that she will be collaborating with Kendrick Lamar on a new song called “Partynauseous”, the song will be released on September 6th, and will be on Lamar’s upcoming album.
Lady Gaga and Kendrick then revealed some new information on the new record:
- “I wrote “PARTYNAUSEOUS” about Jakarta, and my relationship with that country. Wishing I could “get high with the enemy” and make peace.”
- “Once @kendricklamar + I started talking about life + his forward thinking views about love + hip hop, the song became something more.”
- “Dark poetry. But that peak of light that shines thru is hope and desperation. That’s me. That’s this song.” -
- “It’s hip hop/pop/ with a hint of J-pop techno” [x]
